In order to be ready in the coming years for the development of a New Generation Launcher, a cooperation started some years ago between Russian and French Rocket engine companies on LOX / LCH4 area. This propellants couple is an interesting candidate to answer to the requirements of cost and environnement aspects. The goal of this paper is to present the last activities performed on both sides and at the different technical levels : injection and combustion level, stability aspects and engine level. It will be the opportunity to present the modification performed on the initially LOX / LH2 KVD1 engine in the purpose to reach nominal LOX / LCH4 conditions.
