- Abstract
This presentation will give an overview of recent results within ESA's physical science programme. Results will cover basic research in fundamental physics, fluid dynamics and combustion and solid and soft matter. Also, achievements in applied research in colloboration with the aerospace, automotive, petrochemical, energy, food and other industrial sectors will be presented. The results have been obtained using ESA's suite of experimental platforms: bed-rest and other ground-based studies, parabolic flights, dounding rockets, orbital capsules and of course the ISS and the ESA Columbus laboratory.
