The first step in this STSAT program, STSAT-1, was launched in 2003 and has provided the valuable space observation data, such as ultraviolet rays. Following on this successful program, the 2nd satellite, STSAT-2 was developed from 2003, is now ready to launch by the first Korean Launcher, named as KSLV-1(Korea Space Launch Vehicle) at the end of 2009 at Korea.
