- Abstract
As a part of the small sateelite projects, two types of spacecraft busses are planned, one in the class of microsatellites and the other in the class of minisatellites. The first microsatellite was successfully designed and fabricated with miniaturised sub-systems and has carried remote sensing payloads. The same bus has been reconfigured with minimal changes for a second mission with payloads for observation of Solar activity and Earth atmosphere. This bus has proven to be a good candidate for missions with paylods for earth observation as well as space science. The paper describes the first two missions and furure improvements planned in this bus. Also the paper covers the mini-bus configuration and the capability of the bus for different payloads.
