- Abstract
Abstract: As progressive requirement for ultra-large space structure day by day, membrane structure, which provides an effective way, is received increasing attention from many organizations all over the world. Many countries have begun the studies on membrane space structure. Author has investigated a prototype of flat-frame membrane antenna since 2007. In this paper, planeness of membrane antenna is analyzed, which is one of the most important properties of flat-frame membrane antenna. A prototype with the size of 3m×1m has been developed and measurements have been taken based on photogrammetry. The concept of equivalent valid area of flat membrane structure with discrete points tension is presented, with prototype of membrane antenna and its photogrammetry.
