    Abstract
    Unknown pages of creation of the most powerful rocket "Satan" are opened. This missile was the further perfection before the developed complexes with rocket of the heavy class and intended for defeat of high-strength major state and military objects, and also the largest administrative-political and military-industrial centres. The basic requirements to a complex were:
- Increase of accuracy of shooting and battle readiness;
- Application of a control system on the basis of the Onboard Digital computer;
- Use of starting complexes with increase of their security and command posts from influence of nuclear explosion,
- Application of multiple warhead and a complex of means of overcoming of antimissile defense of the probable opponent. 
The report gives the characteristic of missile prototypes, the analysis of original design solution with monoblock warhead and with multiple warhead. This solution has increase the fighting efficiency not less than at 2-10 time under discharge of rockets on the solution of a fighting task in comparison with a monoblock warhead. The rocket was unified for all kinds of fighting equipment that has allowed making replacement of warheads and a complex of means of overcoming of antimissile defense during fighting watch without completions of a design and systems of a rocket. Breaking of the targets was provided by a rocket complex in any conditions of fighting application. The powerfulness of the rocket 15А14 and its fighting efficiency with all kinds of fighting equipment had no analogues in existing system of defense the USA. Report tells about founders of the basic systems of missile, about its managers. The basic difficulties are reflected at designing and working off of a rocket which have not lost the value on many directions till now. It is told about use “Satan” as space carrier "Dnipro". Course of life and management activity of founders of a rocket "Satan" is characterized. One of authors was the top manager in beginning, and then the main designer of "Satan" and consequently he knows most a trustworthy information about designing and manufacturing and working off of this most powerful in the world of a rocket. The report is submitted unique the information about discussion of decision-making on this rocket at session of Soviet Council of defense under Bregnev management where one of authors was. The authors worked together with the specified Ukrainian scientists some decades and they use in the report many unknown earlier archival materials.
