    Abstract
    This presentation will discuss how the International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) fosters understanding and cooperation among the world’s space organizations to promote commercial space transportation solutions and innovations.  The author will discuss the history of the industry as related to the progress is spaceports, vehicle systems, international collaborations and synergies among evolving companies and the heritage industrial organizations and agencies. The International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight plays a critical role in fostering the commercial space sector related to human spaceflight known as personal spaceflight.  ISPCS is the industry’s leading gathering for the visionaries and builders delivering the promise of spaceflight for mankind.  The symposium features information sessions, networking opportunities and provides the latest news, topics, trends, and best practices that demonstrate personal and commercial spaceflight as a reality. ISPCS focuses on those sectors of the commercial space industry which are primary and secondary builders and suppliers engaged in supporting personal spaceflight. Therefore the symposium addresses issues related to designing, building and regulating global spaceports; related vehicles and launch systems; space tourism; workforce development; financing; synergy between military, governments and commercial space; and future trends.
