- Abstract
Space applications and related technological advancements remain subject to a mainly public international legal regime which impacts on space activities of African States and their aspirations. This paper presents the context, examines the status of the current legal framework and assesses the role of African States in the progressive development of legal instruments governing the use of outer space.
