    Abstract
Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) has developed a set of safety regulations to guarantee safety for the commercial space launchings after a serious accident occurred in 2003 at the Alcantara Launching Center (CLA) in Brazil. A Space Safety Regulation were published and validated in 2007 for the protection of people, property and the environment. An implementation of SINACESPAÇO program has started by AEB to promote quality and safety in the space activities in Brazil and the development of the competitiveness of Brazilian space suppliers. Consequently, procedures for granting the licenses required for the development of the commercial space activities in Brazil were established by the Space Safety General Regulation and the development of a National Certification system for space suppliers of products, services, materials and also for workers by the SINACESPAÇO program. For this reason, this paper will describe the new procedures for the commercial space launching in Brazil in accordance with its new Space Safety Regulation as well as a briefly analysis of the policy and legal requirement for its commercial space launching in accordance with its national space law.
