- Abstract
Currently basically all space-faring nations are actively engaged in developing advanced space launch vehicles. Today a qualitatively new phase of rocket and space industry development is supposed. Namely, it is intended to realize new space projects, such as development of advanced launch vehicles and space manned transportation systems. The projects include reusable space transportation systems. The article and the report contain main factors determining the necessity of development and creation of reusable space transportation systems in Russia, main goals and objectives in providing Russian space activities and international cooperation in the near and distant future. The guidelines of working out, approaches and steps for creating of reusable space transportation systems in the Russian Federation are presented.
