    Abstract
In Chinese tradition, “sixty six” is a very lucky number, means “66 everything goes smoothly.” First published in 1955 entitled “Astronautica Acta”, and then changed to the current title “Acta Astronautica” in 1974 due to the reason of grammatical correctness, 2020 is the 66th year of Acta Astronautica. From 1955 to 1961, it was the official journal of International Astronautical Federation (IAF), and then became the official journal of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in 1962. During the 10 years from 2011 to 2020, there were pronounced evolution and improvements in the performance of Acta Astronautica. The two year impact factor increased from 0.609 to 2.482 (307.6% growth); the ranking in aerospace engineering category journals increased from 9/27 to 5/31; and the download number per year increased from 326,562 to 748,402 (129.2% growth). Currently, there are one Editor-in-Chief Rock Jeng-Shing Chern (M2, Canada) and 24 Co-Editors: Nikolay N. Smirnov (M2, Russia), Antonio Viviani (M1, Italy), Radhika Ramachandran (M1, India), Elisabeth Piotelat (CM2, France), Athena Coustenis (M1, France), Olivier Contant (M3, France), Oliver Ullrich (M3, Switzerland), Riccardo Bevilacqua (CM2, USA), Christophe Bonnal (M2, France), Filippo Graziani (M2,. Italy), Jiawen Qiu (CM2, China), Krishna Dev Kumar (M2, Canada), Mauro Pontani (CM2, Italy), Vipparthi Adimurthy (M2, India), Anna D. Guerman (M2, Portugal), Yu Lu (M2, China), Robert G. Melton (CM2, USA), Arun K. Misra (M2, Canada), Maria Antonietta Perino (M2, Italy), Yury N. Razoumny (M2, Russia), Eva Yi-Wei Chang (M4, Taiwan), Ake Ingemar Skoog (M3, Sweden), Corinne M. Jorgenson (M4, USA), and Haym Benaroya (M2, USA). The purposes of this paper are to elaborate the evolutions in management strategy, and to describe the effort of team work of all Co-Editors in promoting Acta Astronautica to reach 66 years of excellence, especially from 2011 to 2020.
