- Abstract
This paper presents a real implementation of lean six sigma tools to reduce Non-Conformances (NCs) for future satellite manufacturing projects in Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC). This is accomplished by reflecting to the previous missions’ lessons learned. The result of this paper shows that the main causes of almost all NCs can be avoided by identifying the NCs, analyzing the root causes and providing corrective and preventive actions accordingly. Following such lean approach alerts MBRSC of the opportunities that can be exploited to improve the overall quality.
