    Abstract
Consisting of natural complexes and objects of special ecological, cultural and aesthetic significance, specially protected natural areas plays important role in sustainability of biodiversity. These types of sensitive areas are becoming more and more affected due to the increasing impact of climate change. Earth Observation plays an important role for accurate monitoring of specially protected natural areas. Especially, implementing measures to counteract the negative effects of climate change, it is necessary to focus on assessing types and volumes of negative effects and determining the speed and direction of changes. The main goal of the study is to track the changes in Kizilagaj National Park that have occurred over the past 30 years for risk assessment and to obtain an accurate forecast of the direction and speed of negative consequences using Remote Sensing technologies. According to the results, 30\% of water and 52\% of wetlands are lost within protected area. The dynamics of the changes suggest that it was caused by a decrease in fresh water resources coming to the area and also a decrease in the water level of the Caspian Sea for more than 1 meter over the past 15 years. As a result of the direct effect of seawater depletion on groundwater levels, wetland areas are also rapidly decreasing. Based on bathymetry data and sea level manipulation up to 1 meter reduction will cause the water area of the reserve to decrease more than 50\% and the wetlands to dry up. Also it is clear that watershed within the protected area will be separated from the Sea, with more further negative impacts on biodiversity. The achieved results which obtained in a short period of time and at low cost are very important for countermeasure planning and decision making to minimize or delaying negative impacts of climate changes.
