    Abstract

With the rapid development of the mini satellites, how to reduce the structure mass of the electronic equipments is more and more important. Integrated and modular design is one effective way of reducing structure mass.

This paper intends to introduce a public electronic box on CAST-mini satellite bus (about 100kg class, the mini satellite bus in DFH Satellite Co. Ltd.). Integration is a main characteristic of the public electronic box, in which the on-board electronics, the computer for attitude and orbit control, the GPS receiver and the power control unit are arranged. According to this way, the structure mass is reduced 50%.

Modularization is another characteristic of the public electronic box, in which the integrated electronic equipments are standard printed circuit boards (PCB) at electronics and mechanism interface. According to a public mother board aims at cableless within the public electronic box. In order to decrease vibration to PCB, adopts the spring patch of the shape memory alloy (SMA). Moreover, in designing structure electro magnetic compatibility (EMC) and thermal are taken into account carefully.

This public electronic box has been taken the finite element and thermal analysis, and the vibration and EMC test. In the paper, importantly introduces the vibration test and the result.
