Abstract

The MBSAT spacecraft was launched in March, 2004.  Revenue service was initiated in October, 2004 after completion of system verification testing.
The satellite is now providing high quality audio, video and data services to mobile users in Japan and Korea. This paper presents the on-orbit performance of the satellite and the operational system services.
