- Abstract
A probability of satellite damage due to meteoroid impacts are rather small in average. But due to due to focusing effect in gravitational field there are places and instants of time where meteoroid flux are much intense. It can occur even with separate spacecraft in GSO that can be disabled unexpectedly. The thorough analysis of the meteoroid environment is helpful post factum but some measures can be done designing a spacecraft. There are some results of a preliminary study of the question.
