    Abstract
aMarte is a new way of understanding expositions, where both physic objects and the last audiovisual technologies developed in research laboratories has been used. A project of The Government of Aragon (Spain), which represent half year of hard work, with participation of 25 persons, among technicians, artist and researchers belonging to 5 Spanish Universities. It took place during October 2004 in Zaragoza, and it was visited for 60000 persons.

The main target was an increase in scientific culture about Cosmos taking advantage of the arrival of Mars Express at the red planet and the attractive that Mars generates in the public and in the mass media. The exposition tried to transform this planet in a close personage like a way of approximating the importance and beauty of investigation to the general public. It was also a promotion of future.

To get this target, three actions were carried out:

    ·	Virtual trip with immersion technology over the surface of Mars.
The goal of this unit was the fact that the visitor had a feeling of movement over the surface of Mars with a sensation of immersion. The flight was developed as of altimetry data (MOLA) of the Mars Global Surveyor. It was a real-time flight.

    ·	Audiovisual about Mars.
An audiovisual was showed during 20 minutes. It consisted of two parts: a history of the astronomy of Mars, from Babylon to nowadays, and a trip through the geography of Mars.

    ·	Exposition about Mars.
As a complement of the previous activities, an explanatory exposition was made with the best photographs of Mars.

To the development of this exposition, the participation of scientist and engineers, whose knowledge and investigations were joined to the aesthetic sense of artist and designers, was fundamental. Working together showed that Science is attractive and spectacular. Moreover, it’s an important part of our culture.
