    Abstract
Earth Observation from space is now being used for the protection of the World Heritage sites. In partnership with the International and National Space Agencies, UNESCO is assisting developing countries in the use of space technologies as applied for the conservation of our cultural and natural heritage.
This lecture will present in a simple and straight manner how satellites are observing the World Heritage sites and how this data and information is being used to ensure its conservation for the next generations.
This lecture illustrates a partnership of the international space community showing a great corporate social responsibility joining efforts to assist the UN in the preservation of our common heritage, the World Heritage.

In this 21st century space is an inspiration for humankind, come and see how space technologies are assisting the preservation and conservation of World Heritage sites like the Maya temples, the pyramids of Ghyza, the Inca archaeology, …. All this that has always been an outstanding example of humankind inspiration.
