    Abstract
Robotic and human exploration of space is a major area of interest for most space-faring nations. Several space agencies are making plans for robotic and human missions to study the Moon and Mars and eventually to extend life beyond Earth orbit. Robotic missions will pave the way for humans and robots will assist and support humans when they return to the Moon and eventually explore Mars. The agencies planning these robotic and human exploration missions are discussing a variety of modes for collaboration in the pursuit of their common space exploration interests.

The participants in this Plenary Event will report on the status of planning for robotic and human exploration of space within their agencies and discuss anticipated next steps in the implementation of their plans. The participants will also have an opportunity to provide their perspectives on approaches to international collaboration.
