- Abstract
Life support systems with new capabilities are often delayed in their development, and the history of adapting new, regenerative life support technologies is fraught with a lack of substantive progress caused by developmental timidity. This abstract will discuss a bimodal concept of life support system development focusing on systems integration on one hand, and on the provision of useful services, in flight, on the other.
