    Abstract
Juno is a New Frontiers mission expected to launch in July, 2010 and arrive at Jupiter in 2015. Peering down through the clouds and deep into Jupiter’s atmosphere, Juno reveals fundamental processes of the formation and early evolution of our solar system. Using a simple, solar powered, spinning spacecraft in an innovative, highly elliptical polar orbit, Juno avoids Jupiter’s highest radiation regions. The Juno mission overview in last year’s paper detailed the results of the concept study. Since Juno is part way through the preliminary design phase, this paper provides much more detail of the operations concept and resultant spacecraft, payload, and ground system designs. Launch, cruise, Jupiter Orbit Insertion, and Jupiter Science orbit are detailed including the driving requirements. Finally, any updates from the concept study of last year are summarized including the rationale.
