    Abstract
Space science is the most charismatic part of space activities, it’s not only exploring the basic law of nature and enriching the human treasure-house of ideas, but also laying a solid foundation for space technology and space application. In the new century, the Chinese space technology ability is enhanced rapidly. The sequential success of ShenZhou5, 6 manned space flight missions indicated that China has become a great power in space. At the same time, the China space exploring activities are becoming quite lively. With the Double Stars program and Chang’e Project are putting into force, the space science has been an important motive force to put the Chinese space technology forward. In the next five years, China will carry out several important space science projects, including Space Environment Utilization Satellite(SEUS), Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(HXMT), KuaFu program, Space Environment \&Effect Monitor Satellite (SEEMS), and Space Solar Telescope(SST). The Chinese space science will develop comprehensively in space science experiment, solar- terrestrial physics, space astronomy, and deep space exploring fields. But there are great gaps in advanced satellite and payload technology by comparing with international advanced space science technology. China will further improve the space exploring ability by more foundation research and extensive international cooperation, so accelerate full progress in space science, and contribute more for international space science advancement. In the paper, the China space exploring technology ability and status in quo are summarized. By compared with the international space exploring technology development status, the gaps are analyzed and the prospect of Chinese space science is conceived. The technologies need to developed are suggested.
