- Abstract
Image acquisition system is one of the most important parts of the Command and Data Acquisition Station for geostationary meteorological satellite. This paper briefly introduces the function, configuration and working principals of ground IAS for China geostationary meteorological satellite FY-2C. Also it addresses the synchronous scanning method of Visible and Inferred Spin Scanning Radiator-VISSR in the original image acquisition process of FY-2C and the down transmission mode for the acquired image data and synchronous benchmark. Different methods including radiation correction utilizing the synchronous benchmark, equiangular resample and real time registration between channels to produce the Stretching VISSR-S.V in stated format are discussed concerning the ground resuming process for the VISSR image and synchronous benchmark. The method of assuring the synchronization processing correctness and increasing the VISSR image processing precision by computing and compensating beta angle, pre-compensating when beta angle going through zero, is presented as well.
