    Abstract
As a results of GMES Poland project and organized within the framework of this project meetings for local authorities a conception of decision support system to facilitate disaster management in mountain area was formed.
First investigation was made for Powiat Lwowecki (county) (SW part of Poland, Przedgorze Sudeckie Region). Main natural hazards in this territory are connected with flooding. Because of that the preliminary analyses was concentrated on this problem.
At present a decision support system in Powiat Lwowecki based on writhed materials and old data. A lot of decision was made on the basis of the Disaster Management Office employees experiences because the paper-data are being updated very seldom.
The idea of presented project is to create local integrated decision-support system for risk management and flood monitoring based on satellite and in-situ data using web-based application.
The disaster management area required merging different type of data and information obtained from different sources and this is perfect to use GIS, remote sensing (aerial, satellite and ground observations) and computer assisted tools.
The conception provides easy access to all data collected with local authorities and other data available from existing on-line services. The satellite data will be used to updating existing data and as a tools to fascinating decision-making in the case of disasters.
Preliminary results of user needs, used data and tools, possibility to use satellite data and integrated web-based supporting system conception for local Disaster Management Department in Poland (case study Powiat Lwowecki county) will be presented in this poster.
