- Abstract
Satellite based mobile broadcast service in Japan was initiated in October, 2004 using the MBSAT satellite. High quality audio, video and data services are now being provided to mobile users in Japan and Korea. This paper presents the performance of the operational system services including improvements to the modulation and transmission aspects of the system.
