- Abstract
The Yuzhnoye SDO has the wide experience in design and development of the adapters, spacecraft separation and dispenser systems, and the upper stages, which were intended for injection of various types of spacecraft. In the manuscript there is one of the last such development. Authors describe invaluable experience, which was received during development of these structures. The new possibilities are considered to inject the spacecraft by Zenit Launch Vehicle, for this purpose the special Platform for two spacecraft is developed. It represents the dispenser that is installed on the adapter and divided in two doors. The doors are not released from the platform and held by means of the special devices for decreasing the number of the separated parts on the near Earth orbit during the Zenit launch. To protect the near Earth space against space debris the Authors offer to install the small interorbital transfer (tug) on this Platform for moving spacecraft to the working orbits and further reentry of the Platform into the dense atmospheric layers. The Platform is designed with use of earlier created elements and structural components, units, assemblies and proven technologies that with the minimum expenses open the new prospects and allow reducing costs of launch for the customer.
