    Abstract
This paper gives a summary of space debris mitigation activity and plan. As one of the members of IADC (Inter-agency Space Debris Coordination Committee), China National Space Administration (CNSA) has been supporting many researches and applications on space debris mitigation. The vent technologies of residual propellants have been developed for the Long March launcher vehicles serials, and successfully applied. Studies on re-orbit of GEO spacecrafts, mitigation of LEO spacecrafts and risk assessment of re-entry objects have been carried on. Moreover, the space mitigation standard and administration system are under construction. A five years program of space debris studies was planed in 2005. According to this program, more research on space debris mitigation will be carried on.
