    Abstract
We have proposed an impact detection system using a structure health monitoring system in spite of a camera system on the background of worse debris environment around the earth. The system we have proposed could measure the impact time as well as locate the impact position. Ultimately, we will make use of a satellite as a dust counter. However, this system cannot be applied to an applications satellite yet. Therefore, we plan to install the system on the micro satellite named QTEX (Kyushu University Tethered satellite Experiments), which is developed in our laboratory, and set the impact detection to QTEX as one of the missions and examine the demonstration of the system. This paper presents the examination of this system in the case of QTEX.
