    Abstract
This paper introduces a TVC system for liquid oxygen-kerosene launch vehicle. Novel attempts in a few technical aspects are described, such as obtaining energy supply, increasing reliability, enhancing controllability, and optimizing structures and operational performances, etc. A new approach to obtain servo hydraulic power supply is expounded, one same hydraulic pump driven by two different primary power units switching automatically between in-flight and ground. Moreover, power elements developed for this use are explained, including high pressure and constant speed kerosene motor, high power ratio intermediate frequency electric motor, and constant pressure variable displacement pump shifting between in-flight/ground power levels. Also presented are new triple-redundancy and quadruple-redundancy electro-hydraulic servo-valves, the completely integrated electro-hydraulic servo-mechanism with whole hydraulic system packed preliminarily and with both in-flight and ground hydraulic energy self-supplied, and the mechatronical system connected by a digital servo controller with 1553B BUS interfaces. Experiments have demonstrated the applicability of this new system, including hot firing tests for thrust vector controls.
What this paper introduces are latest research results by the author, and was never published elsewhere before. The author plans to attend the meeting and to make oral representations.
