    Abstract
Development of a terrestrial civilization is approaching the time of active action on the comets, the asteroids which are bringing the threat for the Earth. Recently one of authors stated an idea about creation by means of robots in a body of the space body consisting in the most part from ice, the laser rocket engine of the huge sizes. The first results on studying a structure of comet Tempel-1 have shown, that an ice nucleus is under firm crust. Asteroid Lazer Rocket Engine, receiving energy from the Sun, transfers of it in the chamber by means of laser beams. In the chamber there is a transformation of ice into water first, then into heated up vapour. The jet of expiring vapour creates jet force which can change a trajectory of a space body. Thus it is possible to remove real probable threat of the future collision of the Earth with this heavenly heavenly body.
Naturally a condition of creation of such engine is
     (1) composition of a heavenly body of the substance, capable to transform in vapour under action laser a beam,
    (2) acceptable affinity of an orbit of a heavenly body to the Sun so that it was possible to receive a power for the power satellite with solar batteries, which is on an orbit near to a heavenly body,
     (3) enough early detection of the heavenly body representing threat for the Earth that the pulse of thrust of the engine during approach of a body was sufficient for change of an orbit of a body.
The purpose of the present report is representation of theoretical bases of calculation of such engine – the geometrical sizes, thrust, power of solar batteries, an operating time of the propulsion plant. The huge sizes of such propulsion plant and difficulty of its creation should not worry, as existence of a terrestrial civilization can be put on a card.
In this case about any economy of means of the Earth cannot be and speeches. Basic difficulties for realization of such circuit is not present, except for economic. Naturally, our civilization should find now means for monitoring of the heavenly bodies representing threat, for development of space robots, of the solar batteries of the enormous sizes, of the space systems exitation of lasers energy of the Sun, of the systems of transfer of energy a laser beam and others.
