- Abstract
Propellant systems of the modern LV’s are of very high sizes, at the same time capabilities of existing stands for ground development do not allow to carry out their full-scale tests under simulation of major influencing factors (such as the flow of propellants, aerodynamic heating etc.). Creation of such stands demands the great material expenses and long time. In this connection the modelling of intratank processes and flight conditions at ground development is rather actual task. On the basis of approved calculation methods for the LV propellant tanks pressurization systems, the basic aspects of the approximate modelling of their parameters in ground conditions are considered. A number of relations for definition of modelling conditions received on models and their correlations with flight environment have been obtained. Such approach has allowed to develop propellant supply systems of the Zenit LV propulsion systems effectively and reliably enough.
