The objectives of this paper are to define the steps toward Aeropsaceplane technology demontration as dual-use program of Hypersonic cruise vehicle technology demonstration, which is based on JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) long-term vision (JAXA 2025). Discussions include future hypersonic/aerospaceplane system trade-offs with candidate propulsion system selections.
