- Abstract
The Dutch Aerospace Society NVR started in the summer of 2005 with the education project RuimteWijs (Dutch for 'SpaceWise'). This project aims to bring together space professionals and schools to exchange the wonders of Space to children in the agegroup from 6-16. The starting theme of RuimteWijs is ESA's Venus Express mission as it is considered that Planetary Exploration missions are most inspiring for children. Further plans are underway to make ESA's ExoMars mission part of the RuimteWijs programme. The core of the programme is formed by a website where both space professionals and schools can identify themselves and describe their experience/needs. Matchmaking is then easy for both the space professionals and the schools and can be done without much interference of organizational staff.
