    Abstract
    UN-declared World Space Week is celebrated each October 4-10 in some 50 nations annually.  A major focus of this celebration has been to inspire students to learn.   This paper presents an overview of how teachers and other organizations have used World Space Week to stimulate education over the past several years in different countries and cultures and via a variety of means, both inside and outside of the classroom.
