    Abstract
Star2Earth is an innovative spin-off from space technology aiming to provide commercial services for ocean monitoring based on satellite data, mainly GNSS.
Star2Earth is based at the European Space Incubator (ESA, ESTEC, Netherlands.

Star2Earth first product is Oceanpal, an instrument (based on GNSS signals) to be placed in fixed platforms (coastline, port, off-shore platform, plane...)in order to provide real time information on sea state and sea level. One of the innovative features of Oceanpal is that it is a dry sensor.

Star2Earth is approaching non-tradicional markets for space technologies, such as port authorities, off-shore platforms, leisure sailing, fishing sector and others.
These spin-offs are a unique opportunity to find innovative applications and markets to available space data.

Star2Earth is evolving Oceanpal as well as developing new future products using GNSS signals. Star2Earth is an example how initiatives such as Galileo can open a completely new array of business opportunities in innovative fields, such as Environmental Applications.
