    Abstract
This paper will demonstrate some ideas and plans to attract the general public to the cultural utilization of space development through art, literature and cultural events. I propose a number of projects that I will carry out to provide general worldwide recognition for Space Art and to develop attractive designs and options for space tourism through Space Art.

Space Art is a new genre which relies on space activity for its implementation. Media art is a medium-based definition of art that consciously utilizes media technology as its essential component. Some Space Art could be media art, and media art such as telecommunication art should be focused upon as a possibility which could play an important role in outer space.

There are two aspects: the improvement of both real space and website space.

In terms of real space, Space Art and design will make space tourism attractive to the general public. Space craft can be designed for travel comfort, and space tourism itself can feature museum tours exhibiting Space Art including new view points on the use of practical materials for public art.

If a new website shows movies or photographs taken at the ISS about the beauty of the surface of the earth, it will be a highlight in the lives of the general public. An interactive art site and Space Art movies will also be shown on this site. Additionally, information about Space Art events and media art competitions will be listed here. A specific aspect of this media art will be to facilitate open collaboration in creating art, music and literature through the website for everyone. For example, collaborative writing with images will be possible and this literature will lead to the creativity of the general public. It will include real Space Art which will be realized in the future.

People in confined spaces such as in the ISS and in hospitals will be able to participate in this kind of collaboration whenever they like. By 2015, third world countries will also be able to access such a website. Therefore, such collaborative art must be more conscious through international cultural events in alignment with the United Nations’ Development Goals. For example, like the Olympics, Space Art events could carry an important message concerning international cooperation and peace and at the same time, could be shown in line with these goals.
