- Abstract
1) We show theory and experiment of bubble formation when a one-component fluid in a two phase state is slightly heated near the critical point. It is triggered even by an extremely small temperature increase of the boundary. 2) We also investigate temperature profiles in two phase states under heat flux, where evaporation and condensation are crucial. Small doping of a second fluid component drastically changes the flow patterns due to the Marangoni effect.
