    Abstract

In 2003, the author put forward that the deployable optical system is an effective way to realize the ultrahigh resolution earth reconnaissance. This paper introduces the new space camera using the deployable optical system. First, the paper analyses the requirement of the camera and then introduces the constitution of it. The primary mirror is the key part of the optical system. So, this paper analyses the primary mirror in emphases. The primary mirror is segmented, folded when launch and deployed in orbit. When it is deployed, the Wavefront Sensing and Control system works and adjust the mirror with the phasing error less than λ/20.
