- Abstract
New investigations, continuing development of the space launch systems versions, which impact modules do not contain radioactive substances, are presented in the paper. Materials given in the paper reveal expediency of development of the updated Zenit class launch vehicles technical configuration versions as applied to the tasks of the first phase of experimental investigations of the asteroids counteraction complex elements. Also the orbital stages variants are considered for preparation and implementation of measures to impact Apophis asteroid. It will be reasonable to use first stages of these launch vehicles with minimum improvements. Significant modifications are proposed in the technical configuration of orbital stages. For long-term distant flights to asteroid as a part of or-bital stages the power plant version with inert, in initial condition, energy carriers (water, silicon) is proposed. It should be underlined that application of Si and water as power plants components ensures explosion- and fire safety of orbital stages, which is highly important for distant flights. A plan of new technical solutions implementation, allowing to make next step in the space launch system creation for prevention of asteroid collision, is proposed.
