- Abstract
A new plan of action is being prepared for the Spanish Centro de Astrobiologia (CAB) to be implemented during the period 2010-2013. This is a science programme to consolidate and promote an emerging science based on the connection between a number of basic disciplines. CAB is a unique center in this respect, where trans-disciplinarity, i.e. the active exchange of ideas and participation in common projects of scientists trained in different areas, with different skills, and even terminology, is the basic tool for advance. Furthermore, international cooperation is mandatory in any Astrobiology programme and opportunities for it to be developed will be presented together with the overall plan.
