    Abstract
Spot Image has decided more than 5 years ago to turn from a single sensor series data distributor into a provider of complete range of remote sensing data. After building agreements with several international partners (Taiwan, South Korea, Germany, …), Spot image is about to launch four important satellites for the data continuity and broadening of data range: in early 2009, the first of the two Pléiades Very High Resolution satellites will lift-off. On its side the Spot 6 (and Spot 7) satellite will ensure Spot 5 data continuity from early 2012.
This paper introduces the assets brought by these satellites to serve the end users with higher availability, higher reactivity and more comprehensive service.
It highlights the agility capability, the unique coverage capacity, the ultimate accuracy of the data, as well as the highly operational ability.
