- Abstract
The Science and Technology SATellite-3 (STSAT-3) is micro-satellite weighed 150Kg. It is being developed to provide astronomical infrared images of the galaxy and the cosmic background for the scientific researches. And also, it provides earth infrared images and earth hyper-spectral images for earth environment, land classification research, and monitoring of water quality. The STSAT-3 mission is scheduled for launch in October 2010 into a 700km circular sun synchronous orbit.
