- Abstract
An Automatic Hexahedra grids generation method has been developed for very complicated geometries and using it to simulate viscous flow. This method is based on Octree based Cartesian grids method. Adaptive refinement is used at high curvature positions. Wall boundaries are snapped by projected method. The high aspect ratio boundary layers are obtained by partitioning prism grid which is generated in project procedure. The feature recover technique is used for concave and convex surfaces. The flow solver is second order by using least squares reconstruction technique. Roe scheme is used for inviscid flux and Holmes-Connell method is used for viscous flux. Spalart-Allmaras one equation turbulence model used for turbulence computation. LU-SGS scheme is used for implicit time marching. Reordering grid for stability. The samples displayed the method using this are robust and effective.
