The history of the plurality of worlds debate (existence of multiple planets) is examined and used as a reference and lessons learned for how to involve religious communities (a key part of the public) with the science communities in dialogue about new discoveries with an emphasis on using modern technologies (including social networking) to spread complete and clear information about the discoveries from space activities.
