    Abstract
    Mars is most similar to Earth with the geophysical and chemical properties in the solar system. It is possible to become a second home of human in the future. Therefore, Mars exploration program is the focus of human exploration of deep space at present. In this paper, the task and function, composition and major features of China first Mars probe “Yinghuo-1” were introduced. The key technologies were analyzed and the experiences accumulated during satellite design were summarized. Finally, the China long-term plan of Mars exploration is proposed, based on the development and technical features of international Mars exploration.
