    Abstract
There have been substantial traffic increases that effect most European citizens as the mobility needs continue to rise. However, the addition of more land vehicle traffic channels raises a series of problems. An excellent solution for delivering better road services is a fair pay-per-use principle, but individual road pricing has to be determined.

GNSSmeter develops a road pricing and pay per use insurance application system based on satellite navigation technology. Within GNSSmeter, the existing GPS system is extended by integrating EGNOS/EDAS integrity and augmentation data as well as Galileo measurements. Thus, PVT software which incorporates GPS, EGNOS and Galileo raw measurements will handle and process several satellite signals and additionally will carry out several integrity checks to improve the necessary charging integrity which is required for liability critical services.
