- Abstract
DFH satellite Co., LTD is not only the National Small Satellites and Application Research Center but also the largest design and manufacture company of small satellite in China. DFH has successfully developed CAST 968, CAST2000 and CAST100 platforms. Since 2002 the first ocean color observation small satellite was launched in China, DFH has manufactured and successfully launched 15 small satellites. In this paper we summarize the great achievements and future of the civil remote sensing satellites which manufactured by DFH. All these satellites include the ocean observation satellites (HY-1, HY-1B), environment and disaster monitoring forecasting Small Satellite Constellation (HJ-1-Ać HJ-1-B). These satellites are very useful for the ocean color remote sensing, the environment and disaster monitoring. Firstly, the technical characteristics, system design, payloads, assembling and test are briefly described. Then many on-orbit results obtained from images are presented. At last the future Schedules of these series satellites are summarized.
