    Abstract
The Soyouz at CSG project aims at building and operating a new launch pad in French Guiana for the russian veteran Soyuz rocket. The development has been initiated in 2004 and was targeting at that time a first launch at the end of 2008. Today, the Soyuz rocket is expected to make its debut in the second half of this year and the development is almost finished. As a matter of fact, technical and programmatic issues arised, as it is often the case in such large cooperation programs. The largest problem was encountered in the design and manufacturing in Russia of the Mobile Gantry, however other aspects as the flight-termination system or the development documentation or the different methodologies applied in Russia and Europe, create some delays. This paper presents the last status of the development and also discuss the different development problems. The Mobile Gantry development is extensively described. Finally, lessons learned are presented.
