Abstract

This report is covering aspects related to the development of "Vostochny" launch site at Russian Far East Region.
The initial stage of works - concept studies and draft project development of the launch site covers different aspects of technical requirements development, validation of proposed decisions and ways to build the site.
This report assesses main factors which led to the decision to build the new Russian launch site, its main tasks and other decisionmaking-related issues.
Main principles of the development of the launch site and its infrastructure, as well as related solutions, are presented.
