- Abstract
YH-1, the first Mars explorer of China, will be launched this November. The payload controller distributes power to seven payloads, collects data from them, saves data in a flash memory, downlinks to the earth after data compression. It includes a data acquisition and processing module, and a power distributor. How to send data to the Earth efficiently is a technological challenge. Reconfigurable data rate and data compression is supported. The downlink data rate is from 8bps to 16kbps.
